You are #1!
To reward or give prizes to children for good behaviour or because they have done some household chores very well or obtained good school marks is an excellent way to stimulate them and strengthen their self-esteem. It’s not necessary to purchase expensive gifts; the best rewards are immaterial! Such as praise applause and hugs. In this handcraft, we propose accompanying these immaterial “gifts” with felt and EVA foam medals to reward their achievements and make the kids happy and proud.
APLI EVA foam
APLI glue gun and hot melt sticks
A safety pin (optional)
Chose a piece of EVA foam in the colour you want, draw the number with a pencil and cut it out.
Take 2 other sheets of EVA foam of different colours and cut out two circles, one larger than the other. (Bear in mind that the smallest must be large enough to stick the number 1 you made in the first step).
Take a piece of felt, draw this figure on to it and cut this figure out. Bear in mind that it must be larger than the largest circle of the previous step.
Take a piece of felt in another colour, draw and cut out this shape.
Use the silicone to stick the number 1 onto the smallest circle.
Then stick the small circle with the number onto the larger circle.
Then stick these two shapes together, as you can see in the photo
And finally, stick the large circle onto the figure you obtained in the previous step.
You can make as many medals as you want: With a number 1 or a heart for example, and reward your daughter for being the queen of love or whatever you want! Once you have the medal, you can add a safety pin and attach it to your child’s t-shirt so he/she can display it with pride around the house.
